Election Day... I walked across the street and voted this morning.
After picking Benjamin up from school we went scouting some local parks.

What an amazing night to watch. Barrack Obama is going to be our next president. What a historic election.

Pumpkin Carving...

Ben and I were attempting to use a pumpkin design book for this pumpkin. Can you see the beginning of the ghosts here? Not as easy as I thought. Well needless to say I wanted to try something else....

Waiting for Fall

It may seem like fall is here with the few red and yellow leaves... but it really does not feel like fall yet here in San Diego. Today I saw a sign that said 96 degrees.

1st pumpkin carving of 2008

Today was the small pumpkin. Daddy said he would help do the big pumpkin tomorrow after work. Then we went out front so Benjamin could practice bike riding again. He is doing amazing. Jeff and I are so excited for him and so proud to watch him grow up.

Today was the elementary schools FALL Festival. We had a great time and guess who WON TWO fish? Yep, Goldie now has friends.

Benjamin learned to ride a two-wheeler bike. It was amazing to watch him have so much fun and feel proud of himself.

The book fair at school was safari themed.

He loves to use this tool box that was great grandpa's and build. Next we need to pick up some more wood that is thinner. The stuff we have now requires mommy's help to get the nails through.

We had a nice family dinner tonight at Grammy and Grampys house with Aunt J and J and the cousins. We have not had a family dinner in a while, so it was really nice.

Today was a great family day at Legoland. Jeff had not yet been to the park and Benjamin wanted to show him EVERYTHING. It was Brick or Treat time at Legoland (October you know).
This display is outside the park and I have always told Benjamin that the grown-up looks like daddy. It does!
