He is loving school. It is such a huge relief to me. He is enjoying the activities, he likes his teacher and has made some new friends and each day he learns a different ones name.

Ok -did you have Chipotle for lunch or dinner today? If you showed your San Diego zoo pass, you got a free menu item. The chicken burrito sounded yummy for dinner so we waited in the line that wrapped around the inside of the restaurant. It moved quick ~ thankfully!

It really was the strangest feeling to walk away and then come home and have him not there. He had an AMAZING DAY!~

Sunday before Kindergarten starts and we let Benjamin again choose what we do.

FISHING...

We picked up lunch, brought chairs and fishing supplies. Nothing caught, but a beautiful HOT day.

When asked the night before what he wanted to do... Benjamin told daddy he wanted to go fishing with daddy and grampy. The boys went to a lake here in the city limits. I know that Jeff is definitely glad they went. He caught this bass that is somewhere between 10-12lbs.

Benjamin caught this little guy right before they left. I think it is so great that the three of them were able to have this fun morning.

While they were fishing...mommy went shopping at the outlets.

This afternoon Jeff, Benjamin and I went to his KINDERGARTEN orientation. I think we all felt so much more comfortable after having met all 4 kinder teachers, the principle and being able to see Benjamin's actual classroom. The smile on his face was huge once he saw some toys and activities in the room that he recognized. He is going to do great. I can't believe my baby is going to school.
