Project~Craigslist.
We have really gone through the garage again and have created a VERY large pile of stuff to get rid of, give-away, sell on craigslist and then just give to GoodWill. This camera was something that I posted today. I already sold a couple things and have people interested in a few others. YEAH.

Snow Boots (ok we used them for rainboots today).

We spent a fun afternoon at the San Diego zoo today (the 3 of us).

January 25th

Mount Laguna

Benjamin and I went with some friends from preschool up to Mount Laguna. We were all thrilled to find the snow. The kids had SOOO much fun sledding, building snowmen, making snow angels and of course snowballs.

Busy Feet

Busy Feet ~ For a Busy Boy!Today was a success on putting our own shoes on. I know it is a little thing, but today Benjamin untied his laces and put his shoes on. Next we are working on learning to TIE the laces.

Finally got the rain we have been waiting for.

Saturday, January 19

We moved into our house here in San Diego 5 months ago. Saturday we worked through a huge portion of the boxes in the garage. We came across a bucket full of rocks and shells that Benjamin collected in Santa Barbara before we moved. He wanted to spread the rocks around the backyard. He liked putting the beach rocks near the palm trees in the backyard.

They all played so well together and it was such a beautiful January morning. It felt

great to be outside.

New Ring - big purchase at Disneyland yesterday!

New bike - for when he conquers the bike with training wheels.

My new little helper - wanted to wash my car today.

Another wonderful day at Disneyland. This time we got to spend the day with our special friends, Skye and Bryce.

CRASH AND GO CARS...

are a huge hit in our house right now.

Benjamin spent his own money tonight and paid for the new new police car. Pieces fly off when it crashes into another car, the wall, someone's leg etc... Pretty cool.

Shadow Hills Park ~ Santee

We spent the afternoon, well at least part of the late afternoon at the park. Benjamin had fun with his Tonka truck, the playground equipment and running back and forth down a hill and up an embankment.

Thank goodness school has started again. I think we all need a little structure back in our days.

Busy...

My goal has been to keep Benjamin busy in the afternoons and NOT let him nap. If he get's a nap in, then bedtime is much too late.

He spent time riding his scooter around the backyard with "happy monkey~the webkinz" hooked to the handle-bars.
Spent time using the giant bubble-wands
and digging in the dirt with his new Tonka dump truck, shovels and helmet (of course).

He had a fun day and is now sleeping in peacefully!

This beautiful tree was along the sidewalk near our neighbors home. On a street where a majority of the trees are barren, this tree with the beatiful white flowers just jumped out at me.

Benajmin and I were off for a walk/scooter ride around the neighborhood.

Well for us who live in Southern California and really don't get to experience much weather ~ todays rain meant more outdoor time for Benjamin.
