Five Year Birthday shirt pics

Well today we are beginning the "thank you" cards for his
FIFTH birthday.
Nathaniel ~ he wanted to wear this shirt for you (your old soccer jersey)

This shirt is his birthday shirt. Each year we have taken a picture in this and will watch him grow into a wonderful, kind, happy adult.
Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Letter of the week = W
cute walrus craft
What I am realizing is that I LOVE the idea of the picture a day. I certainly do take a picture a day, but getting it posted is another story. I am trying.

Preschool is so much fun! Making volcano's at one of the centers today.
Guess who is going to be FIVE in two days?

alright - I am back. I just watched the 11pm news and I knew it was hot here today, but it was 93 degrees. YIKES.

Me and my boy.

April 11~

My boy is growing up....He turns FIVE this coming week and is going to Kindergarten in the fall. Today we went for his five year / kindergarten doctors appt. My boy is 46" tall and in the 97th percentile in hgt and wgt. He is healthy and happy. He was not pleased with the process of getting 4 vaccinations, on HGB check and a tb skin test. UGH. Glad to have that done.

The mailman arrived delivering a birthday present from our good friends A & B in Ventura. Who doesn't love packages?

April 5th ~

Well ~ we had been out of town (just the boy and I) for a week... playing catch up at home and on the computer with my pictures I missed a week. Oh well~ really that is my life.

March 30 ~
Dameron Family - thank you so much for your hospitality. We loved spending time with you. Can't wait to see you in San Diego.
March 29~
A big part of our reason for coming North to visit was our playgroups annual group birthday. We have the WONDERFUL group of friends that we met in our childbirth class and immediately after. Each year for the past 5 birthdays we have celebrated with a group party. Birthday number 5 is a big one that we definitely wanted to be a part of.

The 5 year old group pic....Gosh they have grown so fast and are all such great little people and terrific friends. We miss you all.
Benjamin, "A" & "G".
The party was truly a lot of fun, a beautiful day and great friends. What more could you ask for?

March 28 ~
The Sidewinders....this in N's baseball team and we got to see our friend "J" also on the Sidewinders t-ball team. Fun to watch these games and visit with friends.

March 27~
Santa Ynez, CA.... Benjamin and I got to spend some wonderful time with my sister and her family. Silly little "F". She and Ben were having fun driving in the jeep.

We spent the morning at Shoreline Park in Santa Barbara....

March 26 ~
This girl is a goofy one. She too is a fish and loves the water. She definitely was not in as much a usual.... A little cold for her. Love the mask.

We did make the rounds at the Santa Barbara Cemetary. March 26 ~
I believe he was playing with a tip jar next to him. Such a sweet boy. We love our cousins.

March 25 ~
Our cousins pool in Camarillo. It did not matter that the water was a very cold 60 something degrees. My child LOVES the water.

March 24 ~
Shamu ~ Shamu ~ Shamu

March 23 ~ Easter
The annual bunny cake. This was the boys first year to decorate a bunny cake with Grammy and his cousins.

YEAH - a new webkinz from his cousins. Meet Happy Cheetah (yes it is a leopard).

March 22~
Daddy took the boy to an easter egg hunt at Grammys church. Lot's of kids in a little space. He had fun of course.
March 21~
Gramma had never been to the Wild Animal park. We had a great time. Here is one of the 10 adorable lion cubs that were on display with their momma.

March 20~
It is always fun to go exploring and why do boys always find sticks to carry?
